Flexible, fast, alternative and 100% digital, Radio Festival is a groundbreaking medium that boosts the Festival’s presence in digital channels and reaches out to an increasingly sophisticated audience.
A sophisticated and accessible radio station
Radio Festival is a sophisticated, professional and premium-quality communication channel aimed at those attending the Festival, but its accessibility opens it up to a wider audience beyond Cannes.
- Broadcasting 24 hours a day, the radio station will play music associated with the Festival, with an emphasis on film music from previous selections but also soundtracks from less well known, rare and independent films.
- Its schedule will cover 70th year celebrations, Official Selection news, backstage at the Festival and the future of film.
- Radio Festival will be broadcast in French (with simultaneous translation of interviews in English) and acts as an information tool, think tank and forum for analysis and discussion.
Multichannel, live and on-demand broadcasting
The radio will be broadcast on the official Festival de Cannes website and mobile app and will also be available on Deezer. And you can catch up with previous broadcasts on podcast platforms (iTunes, SoundCloud).
The radio studio will be located within the Festival enclosure and accessible to passing visitors.
