A warm welcome for Park Chan-wook’s Mademoiselle (The Handmaiden). Journalists discussed the film with the director at a press conference that was also attended by actors Ha Jung-woo, Kim Min-hee, Kim Tae-ri and Cho Jin-woong, and producer Syd Lim. The Korean director’s eleventh feature film, Mademoiselle is a free adaptation of Sarah Waters’s novel set in Victorian Britain – Fingersmith – but transposed to 1930s Korea.
