Biographie
The Italian director, Francesca Comencini studied philosophy before directing her first feature Pianoforte (1984) which was followed by La Lumière du lac (1989) and Annabelle partagée (1991). She directed a portrait of Elsa Morante (1995) for the French television series 'Un siècle d'écrivain" and a film, Shakespeare à Palerme (1997), on the production of the show "Songe d'une nuit d'été" directed by Carlo Cecchi.
