Synopsis

A nomadic love storyset in the heart of today's Central Asia, amongst the ruins of Sovietism and the complete rebirth of nationalities.
A young Kirghize girl and a Kazakh fisherman each try to escape a dead-end history, manage to find each other and try to win their freedom. By breaking with and at the same time in keeping with very ancient traditions, their love, across valleys, mountains,steppes,and cities, following the course of rivers that invigorate the earth, pulls them towards a new world.
