Synopsis

Isabelle is a student-nurse in the surgical unit of a large hospital. Her cousin Véronique works in the same unit. One night, in the corridors of the hospital where they are both employed, Isabelle meets Dr Philipp. Her head starts to swim and she falls into a faint at the Doctor's feet. The incident recurs repeatedly.
Isabelle is increasingly puzzled by this surgeon who haunts the hospital day and night and shows an unhealthy interest in her malaises. She is convinced he is hiding something.
