Biography

Céline Sallette began her career as an extra in Philippe Garrel's Regular Lovers (2004) then in Meurtrières by Patrick Grandperret (Un Certain Regard 2006). In 2011, she made a mark in Garrel's A Burning Hot Summer and played Clothilde in House of Tolerance by Bertrand Bonello, in Competition at the 2011 Festival de Cannes. The actress put in an acclaimed performance in Jacques Audiard's Rust and Bone and went on to star in Ici-bas by Jean-Pierre Denis. Since 2013 she has been involved in a number of films, working with directors including François Dupeyron, Cédric Kahn, Cédric Jimenez and Tony Gatlif, who gave her a leading role in his intense film Geronimo. After acting in Gustave Kervern and Benoît Delépine's comedy Saint-Amour, Céline Sallette has just finished shooting Corporate by Nicolas Silhol.
