The Festival also invites professionals and film enthusiasts to celebrate the art of cinema and its many facets by organizing various events from masterclasses and exhibitions, to tributes and symposiums...

• Cinema Masterclass: created in 1991, it is given in public by a world renowned filmmaker. Since 2001, Wong Kar Wai, Nanni Moretti, Oliver Stone, Stephen Frears, Ousmane Sembene, Sydney Pollack and Martin Scorsese have successively evoked and illustrated strong moments in their artistic careers and their connection to film.
  
• Tributes: since 1985, the Festival has honoured internationally renowned artists with the presentation of the Festival Trophee following the screening of one of their films.
