Synopsis

The only historical film of Jean Rouch & Co., Babatu. The 3 advices traces the warrior epic of the Zarma chief Babatu who conquered Gurunsi country, prospering as a result of the slave trade.
Damouré, Lam, Tallou, some «guest stars» and a few others, bring to life the adventures of those famous warriors of the 19th century. In between unbridled improvisation and reenactment – benefiting from the screenplay of the historian, writer and politician Boubou Hama from Niger – a movie still relevant today...
