LES SIGNES

Directed by : Eugène GREEN

Year of production : 2006 Country : FRANCE Length : 32 minutes

Synopsis

In a small fishing port a woman, still young, lives with her two sons, Daniel and Samuel. Ten years ago, when the Mother was pregnant with the younger boy, her husband left one morning at dawn, supposedly on a fishing-boat, and never returned. A boat did disappear that day, but since no trace was ever found of a ship-wreck or bodies, the three members of the family keep hoping that the missing man will return. Every night, as a sign, the Mother lights a candle in the window
