THE DOG SHOW

Sergio is a dog trainer. He earns his living showcasing his dogs Habagat and Bagwis in animal stunt shows. Thanks to these, he saves money in order to get back his youngest son after his unfaithful wife has run away with her lover, leaving him to care for their mentally retarded daughter and their elder son, who both help him with the dog shows. When he finally saves enough money, he sets off to the country to get his son, bringing Bagwis with him while leaving behind a sick Habagat. Dismayed, he discovers that his wife has left his third and youngest son with his in-laws, who refuse to part with the child. Sergio then finds the help of the town official in order to settle the custody issue. Relieved, Sergio finally leaves the town with his son and Bagwis. When they arrive at the bus terminal to catch a ride home, Sergio’s son almost falls prey to a notorious rural legend: a white van suspected of abducting children. When the brave boy is able to free himself, the van turns to the boy’s companion: Bagwis.
