    The Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma unveiled on 10th February the list of films nominated in its various awards categories, giving the best films of 2020 their chance to shine. Les Choses qu'on dit, les choses qu'on fait (Love Affair(s)) by Emmanuel Mouret leads the way with thirteen nominations, alongside six other films in Official Selection. The films of Cannes 2020 have a total of 40 chances to carry off a César at the awards ceremony, which will take place on 12th March. Well done and good luck, everyone!

    13 nominations for LES CHOSES QU'ON DIT, LES CHOSES QU'ON FAIT  (Love Affair(s)) by Emmanuel Mouret: Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress for Camélia Jordana, Best Actor for Niels Schneider, Best Supporting Actress for Émilie Dequenne, Best Supporting Actor for Vincent Macaigne, Best Female Newcomer for Julia Piaton, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, and Best Sound.

     

    12 nominations for ÉTÉ 85 (Summer of 85) by François Ozon: Best film, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Male Newcomer for Félix Lefebvre, Best Male Newcomer for Benjamin Voisin, Best Supporting Actress for Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, Best Score, Best Costume Design, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Sound.

     

    8 nominations for ANTOINETTE DANS LES CÉVENNES  (My donkey, my lover and I) by Caroline Vignal: Best Film, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress for Laure Calamy, Best Supporting Actor for Benjamin Lavernhe, Best Score, Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Sound.

     

    4 nominations for ADN (DNA) by Maïwenn: Best Director, Best Supporting Actor for Louis Garrel, Best Supporting Actress for Fanny Ardant, Best Score.

     

    1 nomination for DRUK (Drunk) by Thomas Vinterberg: Best Foreign Film

     

    1 nomination for JOSEP by Aurel: Best Animated Feature

     

    1 nomination for GARÇON CHIFFON (My Best Part) by Nicolas Maury: Best First Film
