Attracting the largest number of filmmakers and delegates of any industry meeting, the Festival and its market branch - the Marché du Film - welcome and accommodate more than 40 000 people during the ten-day experience, who make Cannes their home during this prestigious event.

Within that home, there is a dedicated space - the Village International - that welcomes national and regional film institutions from all over the world. They are all housed in the elegant white pavilions that line the beach and old Port.
The Village’s unrivalled visibility, thanks to its location near the beach (Riviera Side) and port (Pantiero side) and immediate accessibility from the Palais des Festivals, makes it a supremely easy place to meet partners. Under its white awnings, each institution will organize professional events such as contract signings, press conferences, cocktail parties or announcements of new projects, and promote the country film services and policies to support the creative film industries as well as their cinematography.
22 years after its launch in 2000, the Village International is now hosting more than 60 countries every year.
