Synopsis
This is a film on crime and punishment, sin and repentance. The action could take place anywhere, wherever justice and human dignity are violated and fear and terror are the rule of the day...The funeral of Varlam Aravidzé, a well-known Minister, had been as solemn an occasion as he himself could have expected had he lived. The following morning, however, the unbelievable happens. The body of the deceased is founding the garden of Avel, his son. The body is reburied but the next morning it has been dug up once again...
