Cinéma de la Plage: “I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang” by Mervyn Leroy / Concert: François-Eudes Chanfrault / Scratch Massive Live featuring Zoé Cassavetes

As part of a tribute to electronic music in films, Macé beach will welcome François-Eudes Chanfrault, composer of the original soundtrack for Qui a Tué Bambi?, presented out of Competition at the Festival de Cannes in 2003. Also on the bill for this 8:30pm open-air concert is the duo Scratch Massive. Artists Maud Geffray and Sébastien Chenut will be reprising the soundtrack of the film Broken English (theatrical release date: July 16) in the presence of Zoé Cassavetes, the film’s director. The evening will continue with tonight’s feature at Cinéma de la Plage, I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang, a Mervyn Leroy classic dating from 1932.
