Special Screening: “Of Time and the City” by Terence Davies

British director Terence Davies welcomed the audience to the Special Screening presentation of his film Of Time And The City in the Salle du Soixantième with a grand merci (in French in the original) to the Festival de Cannes.

Of Time And The City is a poem of love and praise to Liverpool, the city where Davies was born. A representation of memory, it is also a reflection on the Proustian search for lost time, as the cityscape of yesteryear gradually yields to that of today.
