L’Atelier 2010

Paris, March 22nd 2010

The Festival launched L’Atelier in 2005 in order to assist directors with financing and completion of their projects.
For its sixth edition, the Atelier of the Cinefondation selected 15 projects from 15 countries. The selection focuses on 15 projects for a better visibility and brings together young directors whose short films and documentaries have been noted, such as Diego Quemada-Diez, Show-Chun Lee, Károly Ujj Mészáros or Ruben Sierra Salles and directors who have already directed one or several features and present the project of their future films such as Shinji Aoyama, Jaime Rosales or Nabil Ayouch.
Alongside the producer(s) of their films, each director will meet in Cannes from May 14th to May 21st film industry professionals during the course of meetings that are presently being organized.
The Livre des Projets, in addition to a form to request a meeting with our directors, will be available from April 15th on the Cinefondation website.
