AWARDS – Ex-aequo Best Actress Award
The prize for best actress has been awarded to Rooney Mara (joint winner) for her role in Carol, by Todd Haynes.
Director Todd Haynes accepted the award from Tahar Rahim on behalf of Rooney Mara, who was awarded the prize for her role in Carol. He said: “On behalf of Rooney Mara, thank you. I am a very lucky director to have been able to work with an actress like Rooney. She would be blown away, so a huge thank you from her”.
