CINÉFONDATION SELECTION 4/4 – Meet the film talent of tomorrow
Every year, the best productions from film schools are shown at Cannes. Since 1998, the Cinéfondation has been unearthing talented student filmmakers from around the world and presenting their short and medium-length films as part of the Official Selection. This year, fourteen narrative films and four animations will be shown in four separate programmes. The screenings end today with Programme 4: Retriever by Tomáš Klein and Tomáš Merta, Victor XX by Ian Garrido López, Het Paradijs (Paradise) by Laura Vandewynckel and Les Chercheurs (The Wheel of Emotions) by Aurélien Peilloux. Quickfire joint interviews.
The Cinéfondation and Short Films Jury, chaired by Abderrahmane Sissako, will award three prizes for the best films at an official ceremony to be held today at 4.30pm.
