She has inherited the features and dazzling smile of her mother, to whom the Festival de Cannes pays tribute this year in its poster and a documentary, Jag Är Ingrid (Ingrid Bergman, in Her Own Words) by Stig Björkman. From her father, she has the prestigious surname she uses to this day and also a certain “curiosity” for “the art of film”. Isabella Rossellini upholds the glorious legacy bequeathed to her by her parents with pride and great affection. As a model, television journalist and actress, she describes how she came late to directing “for lack of time” (Green Porno, 2008). The President of the Un Certain Regard Jury talks about her parents and her acting career.
