Shahab Hosseini, Award for Best Actor – Forushande (The Salesman)
The Best Actor prize has been awarded to Shahab Hosseini by Kirsten Dunst and Katayoon Shahabi, for his role in Forushande (The Salesman), by Asghar Farhadi.
The winner declared: "I’d like to thank the Jury, to thank Cannes and to thank Ashgar who gave me back my confidence. I know that I owe this prize to my people. I dedicate it to them, with all my love, and with all my heart."
