The Festival is 70 years old!
On 20th September, 70 years to the day after the first ever Festival was launched on the Croisette in 1946, the French film industry came to celebrate this feat of longevity against the backdrop of the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Paris. A photographic tour of this anniversary evening as we await the festivities planned for the 70th Festival from 17 to 28 May 2017.
