Claude Lelouch offers up a sequel and a fresh start for the love story of Un Homme et une femme (A Man and a Woman). Fifty-three years after picking up the Palme d’or for the film, he presents the touching Les plus belles années d’une vie, a celebration of the reunion between Jean-Louis Trintignant and Anouk Aimée. The filmmaker was surrounded at the press conference by the actors Marianne Denicourt, Anouk Aimée, Monica Bellucci, Souad Amidou, Antoine Sire, and the composer Calogero. The audience came together to give a rendition of "Chabadabada" at the film's showing on May 18.
