The Festival pays tribute to the daily work embarked upon by the press photographers who contribute to the magic of Cannes.
Every day, a panel picked the three most striking photographs of the day.
The three photographs of the day were then uploaded to the Festival's website.

ON 25 MAY, AFTER DELIBERATIONS, THE PANEL reached its VERDICT. the winner of the second edition of the ultimate photograph competition is ELIOTT CHALIER, for his photo entitled "SMARTPHONE on the verge of a nervous breakdown".

Born in 1994, Eliott Chalier studied photography at the Ecole Supérieur des Arts le Septantecinq in Brussels and is currently completing a Masters in Photography at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles. Known for his hard-hitting, powerful aesthetic, his work examines the intimate, backstage atmosphere in the performing arts, fusing the real with the power of spectators' imaginations.
This is Eliott Chalier's first experience of covering the Festival.
