Photographer’s Prize – The top photo
The Festival makes a point of applauding the daily work carried out by the press photographers who help uphold the legend that is Cannes.
Each day, a jury selected the top three most striking shots of the day.
The three selected daily photographs were published on the Festival website.
THIS 28 MAY, THE JURY DELIBERATED AND GAVE ITS VERDICT. THE WINNER OF THE TOP PHOTO FOR THE SIXTH EDITION OF THIS COMPETITION IS BOHAN LI WITH HIS SHOT ENTITLED "STARWAY TO HEAVEN".
It is such an honour to have won the Photographer's Prize for my fourth edition of the Festival de Cannes. Many thanks to the jury. I'm in love with what I do, because it allows me to express my freedom. As a professional Chinese photographer for 15 years now and a graduate of the MJM Paris, over the course of my studies I've learnt that there's no such thing as a "bad" photo. The very essence of photography is to immortalise moments we can never get back.
