MISSISSIPPI BLUES
In 1983, the two directors, Bertrand Tavernier and Robert Parrish, meander through rural Mississippi in search of the spirit of local music and society. This documentary highlights the heritage of William Faulkner, the traditional role of Black churches, Gospel and Blues music along route 61 from Chicago to New Orleans.
