When Saga returns to the village after a long absence, he discovers that his father has married Nogma, his fiancée.
According to local customs, there is nothing unusual about this union.
Saga should have accepted it, and there would have been no drama.
But he refuses to accept this situation, because his love for Nogma is stronger than anything else.
Saga and Nogma will fight against the rules imposed by society and dare to assert their love and desire for freedom in defiance of the law.
TILAI is a story about love, hate, and honor in an African village. This film is a celebration of the greatness of taking control of one’s own destiny.
Tilaï means the law, the code of conduct for every individual, which is even more important than blood ties.
