Based on Turgeniev’s novel. In 1840, Dimitri Sanin, a young Russian noble, sentimental but weak, falls head over heels in love with a young Italian girl and with a Russion countess.
Unable to Passions, he eventually finds himself alone.
Many years later, broken by his experiences, an old man wanders about the streets of Venice, haunted by his memories…
