Press conference of The cinema for the climate

The 74th Festival de Cannes offers a temporary selection dedicated to films with an environmental impact. Seven films to take the pulse of the planet and alert us to current and future issues, presented at the Press Conference, with the participation of:

 

Cyril Dion, director of Animal, surrounded by his two protagonists Bella Lack and Vipulan Puvaneswaran,

 

Flore Vasseur, director of Bigger Than Us, with activist Melati Wijsen, who is featured in the film,

 

Aïssa Maïga, director of Marcher sur l'eau (Above Water),

 

Marie Amiguet for La Panthère des neiges (The Velvet Queen), with screenwriter and photographer Vincent Munier,

 

and Louis Garrel, director of La Croisade (The Crusade).

 

The conference was moderated by Paloma Moritz, spokesperson for the On est prêt movement.
