Jessie est une adolescente pleine de vie. Son seul problème est qu’elle partage sa chambre avec sa petite sœur. Ella, leur mère, est débordée mais attentive. Quand l’une des trois disparaît, toute la famille est bouleversée et cherche un coupable. Ella décide alors d’un voyage vers le Sud. Sous les rayons du soleil de Tenerife, passé et présent se mêlent peu à peu.
