Day nine of the 60th Festival will be studded with stars, as Cannes welcomes George
Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon for the Out of Competition presentation of director Steven Soderbergh’s new film, Ocean’s Thirteen. This

Hollywood production, a sequel to Ocean’s Eleven and Ocean’s
Twelve
, describes the sweetness of revenge under the skies of Las
Vegas
. Danny Ocean and his buddies could only have one motive for attempting their boldest holdup to date: saving a member of the crew. But they realize that luck is not always
enough to when you want to break “The Bank,” alias Willy Banks, a villainous casino owner played by Al Pacino… In addition to Pacino, a new actress, Ellen Barkin, has joined the sparkling
lineup of stars.

A Palme d’Or laureate in 1989 for Sex, Lies, and Videotape, the American director was already thinking about Ocean’s Thirteen before Ocean’s Twelve was wrapped: “When we were finishing up the shooting on Ocean’s
Twelve
, I said to myself that it would be fun to return to
Las Vegas for a new adventure. This third film is largely motivated by the desire we all had to work together again.” “We wanted to return to this environment. Vegas has a special feel. It’s the
world capital of gambling, and a pretty unbelievable city.”
added producer Jerry Weintraub.
