Every day at 9:30PM, the Festival de Cannes reinvents itself as night falls, transforming the Croisette’s Plage Macé, opposite the Majestic hotel, into an open-air cinema. In addition to the screenings, meetings and Official Selection events held at the Palais des Festivals, this is another way for everyone to get involved to the great cinema party.

The program for the 78th Festival will include: film teams on stage, premieres and world cinema classics. From Hong Kong action to Italian intimism, from Japanese animation to Hollywood classics, embark on a cinephile’s world tour that concludes with Any Number Can Win… on the sands of Cannes!

This now traditional rendezvous is open to festival-goers and all audiences, with a choice “warm-up” act every evening: the duo TwinSelecter. Rock, pop, soul, funk, punk, mambo, electro, film soundtracks, jazz, disco, psychedelic, hiphop, garage, to get you going before the screening!

Brigitte Bardot is French cinema’s first icon to achieve worldwide fame. As a muse, an adored star and a committed activist at the same time, she embodies a free woman but is sometimes misunderstood. Too loved or not loved enough, she goes through the spotlight before withdrawing to La Madrague, fleeing from the eyes of the public and the scandals. Today, she reflects on her life full of contrasts: her quick ascent, her status as an icon, her sometimes too radical statements in her fight for animal rights… As a pioneer in her commitments, she revolutionized the image of women and anticipated ecological battles which resonate even more today.
Screening in the presence of Alain Berliner and the team of the film.
