” The meaning of life ” is the story of a search: the search which preoccupies every single human being on this planet, who seeks a clue to who he or she is, why we are here and where we are going. It is the universal story of life itself, from birth to the grave, as seen from the point of view of six fishes, not one of which is a haddock.
