    Synopsis

    Raju, an ex-guide, from the city of Udaipur, is released from prison and has to decide whether to return to his native town and face excommunication or opt for a life elsewhere. He decides to drift in another direction. Raju, however, can't forget the love in his life--Rosie. Rosie was the daughter of a courtesan who wanted a better life for her daughter and married her off to MARCO, an eminent archaeologist. Marco had hired Raju's services in his search for caves and ancient relics. During this time Raju had become a silent spectator to Marco's and Rosie's platonic relationship and also discovered that Rosie was a talented dancer. After foiling an attempted suicide bid by Rosie, Raju decided that only he could help her...
