    Synopsis

    Nous voyons un homme impeccablement habillé en homme d'affaires et portant un " Homburg ". Il est assis dans une baignoire pleine et tape à la machine sous l'eau.
    La baignoire ainsi que tous les autres appareils d'une salle de bains sont placés au bout de la jetée sur l'Hudson River. C'est son domaine. Á travers la porte, il a occasionnellement des contacts avec le monde extérieur et il trouve cela très déprimant.
    Ce film peut être considéré comme une satire de l'homme moderne qui essaie de maintenir sa dignité face à l'univers implacable...Ou bien il peut ne pas être considéré comme tel !
