    LES PETITES MAGICIENNES

Directed by : Vincent MERCIER , Yves ROBERT

    Country : SWITZERLAND

Prix du Jury - fiction - court métrage , 1986

    Synopsis

This film pays homage to the vanished machines, which alone were able to reproduce the total magic of the cinema. It also pays homage to the projectionist, the man you never see, who provides the spark of life necessary for the smooth running of these "magicians". Now that's all gone; the hall is empty for ever. The man is there again, but alone with his memories, alone with his nostalgia. It is an homage to the cinema.
