Asghar Farhadi, Award for Best Screenplay – Forushande (The Salesman)
The Best Screenplay Prize has been awarded by Valeria Golino and László Nemes to Forushande (The Salesman) by Asghar Farhadi.
The prizewinner was visibly surprised. He thanked his entire team and said "My films are not known for their joyfulness, so I’m very happy to have brought some joy to my people."
