Meet the team from Corneliu Porumboiu’s La Gomera (The Whistlers)

Corneliu Porumboiu, the Romanian director and creator of La Gomera (The Whistlers), his new feature film shown in Competition, took part in a press conference along with the film's two leading actors, Vlad Ivanov and Catrinel Marlon. It follows Cristi, a crooked cop, on a trip to the Canary Islands, where he must gather information needed to free a businessman with a troubled past. But in order to do that, he must learn Silbo, a whistled language which is unique in the world, known only to the residents of La Gomera.
