Synopsis
Ils se rencontrent un dimanche soir au pensionnat de leur enfant. Madame a raté son train, comme d'habitude. Monsieur lui propose de la déposer à Paris. Ils se reverront le dimanche suivant. Ils partagent tous les deux la douleur d'un deuil et la garde d'un enfant. Ainsi commence cette fable poétique entre Un homme et une femme. Doucement ils apprendront à se connaître. Ils sont tous les deux avares de confessions. Ils deviendront d'abord amis, puis bon amis. Jusqu'à ce que Madame lui révèle qu'elle ne peut avoir un amant, tant la mort de son mari est encore fraîche dans sa mémoire. Le spectateur apprend à connaître les protagonistes à travers leurs pensées et leurs gestes, ensemble révélés subtilement à travers des non dits, des sous-entendus, des regards et des hésitations.
