Meeting the team behind Naomi Kawase’s Hikari (Radiance)

Hikari (Radiance) is the fifth feature film in Competition from Japanese filmmaker Naomi Kawase, who presided the Short Film Jury and the Cinéfondation in 2016. Following the truly exquisite Les Délices de Tokyo (Un Certain Regard, 2015), Hikari tells the story of two lost and wounded souls, who meet through the world of film. The director answered questions at a traditional press conference, joined by actresses Ayame Misaki, Misuzu Kanno, actors Tatsuya Fuji and Masatoshi Nagase, and Masa Sawada, the film’s producer.
