Lisbon, 1996. ¿Special homes’ shelter teens of both sexes who arrive from all over the country. They never know how long they will stay in any of these places, sometimes nobody knows. These boys and girls have nowhere of their own to go; they’ve been taken from their families, or have none; they have hurt their families, been hurt by them, or will be hurt by them, or perhaps some day they will do harm to a relative, or simply to a passing stranger. That’s what is said about them. They are called minors at risk.
