After a family tragedy for which he is blameworthy, Ismail and his younger brother Mouloud are warmly welcomed in their uncle’s family in Marseille. Ismail is given the responsibility to send Mouloud back to Tunisia where their parents now live, but Mouloud refuses categorically. To avoid this departure, he runs away with the help of his cousin Rhida and gets involved with a dangerous drug dealer. Ismail tries to find him, in vain. He works on his uncle’s building site, becomes friends with the boss’ son and falls in love with the son’s girlfriend. But his obsession remains: he must find the strength to save his younger brother…
