Sadie always admired her sister Georgia, who knew how to balance a briliant singing career with a wonderful family life. As Geaorgia goes from triumph to triumph, the fee-wheeling Sadie sings with little-known bar bands battling alcohol and drugs. No one can keep Sadie from using up herself, her friends and lovers and most hungrily… her sister. The confrontation comes from when they least expect it with neither sister prepared for it, a searing attack from Georgia before she can suppress ot. Still Sadie survives holding Georgia blameless. Sadie burns with an extraordinary fire, alive to every sensation and ready to offer it up.
